Design And Build Quality:
Hero Lectro H3 is a new hybrid electric cycle that comes with a new frame geometry and is powered by GEMTEC. According to the company, GEMTEC is a new technology that represents New ride geometry, Smart Fit, Ergonomic, and along with Strong and Light materials. The new 18.5″ carbon steel frame is ergonomically designed. The new frame is quite robust and sturdy and comes with two color options – Black-green, and Black-red.
Motor And Its Torque:
H3 runs on the same 36v/250w BLDC rear hub motor and the good thing is it has good pulling power as it is able to generate a maximum of 40nm torque. Well, as per government norms the top speed is restricted to 25kmph.
Battery And Its Range:
The bike is powered by a 36v/5.8Ah non-removable in-tube Lithium-ion battery. The battery gets charged in just 3 to 4 hours by a 2A charger. On a single charge, as per the company’s claim, you can travel around 25km on throttle mode. Whereas, on pedal-assist mode, you will get around 30km of riding range. Please note, the actual riding range may vary for every individual due to body weight, road condition, level of assistance, and acceleration.
PAS And Riding Modes:
H3 comes with 12 magnets PAS and has 3 levels of assistance that can be controlled with an analog LED display. The company is also providing a silicon protective case for this LED display to prevent dust and rain. As for the riding modes, it has a total of 4 modes including throttle, pedelec, manual, and walk mode. On the Pedelec mode, you will get a maximum of 90% assistance from the motor.
Wheels And Suspension:
Hero Lectro H3 is a hybrid bike and comes with 700 x 38c wheels combined with anti-skid nylon tires. The bike has no suspension and comes with an aerodynamic rigid fork, and that performs well on paved roads.
Gear System And Brakes:
H3 is a single-speed ebike, but the good thing is, unlike other same-category ebikes, it comes with 160mm dual mechanical disc brakes with an auto safety cut-off feature. That means when applying the brakes, it immediately cuts off the motor from surging ahead.

H3 is priced at ₹27499, and the same can be bought from the company’s official website or your nearest Hero Lectro stores. All the electric equipment comes under 2 year of warranty, but to avail of the warranty, you need to register the bike on the company’s official website.

The new Hero Lectro H3 is an affordable hybrid electric cycle that comes with a new ergonomic frame design. The new frame looks more appealing and aesthetic. But apart from the frame design, there are nothing new and extraordinary features present in this bike. The bike comes with almost the same specs and features the other lectro bikes have. But the new frame geometry will definitely add a plus point to this ebike.
