Ultrabikes NVC The Cheapest 7 Speed Electric Cycle Launched

Ultrabikes presents the NVC, an all-new electric cycle. After the success of Masti and Masti Pro, the company launched this bike mainly for those customers whose budgets are limited to ₹.30,000. NVC comes with some loaded features like 7-speed gears, a great suspension system, a safety, and security system, and many more you will find below.

Design And Build Quality:

Unlike Masti ebikes, NVC comes with a different frameset that is aerodynamically designed. The company has used 3d radium stickers for the logo, and due to radium, it glows in darks. The bike is available in four colors such as red, black with an orange rim, pink, and white.

As far as build quality is concerned, the bike comes with the same frame materials as the Masti bike. The frame size is also increased on this new NVC. The bike comes with an 18″ frame that is made of mild steel. The joints and welding are good and the overall body structure is solid and robust in nature. Even the bike is not heavy, it weighs only 20kg with a carrying capacity of up to 120kg.

Motor And Its Torque:

The bike runs on a 36v/250w BLDC rear hub motor that generates up to 40nm torque. Due to high torque, the bike is able to climb hilly roads, flyover easily. Well, the claimed top speed of the bike is 33kmph, but in general, you will get around 30kmph of speed.

Battery And Its Range:

The bike is powered by a default 10Ah Lithium-ion removable battery pack. But if you wish you can upgrade the default battery with 12Ah, and 15Ah. These all are lithium batteries that provide up to 1000 charging cycles. Although the battery pack comes with a 3A fast charger that helps the battery to charge in 3 to 4 hours. Once the battery gets charged fully then per charge with the default battery, the bike is able to go up to 40km, whereas, when upgraded with a bigger battery, you will get a range of up to 55km.

Pedal Assist:

The bike has only a single level of the pedal-assist with 12 magnets sensor, and due to a single level of assistance, you can not increase or decrease its levels.

Wheels And Suspension:

The new NVC ebike comes with 27.5″ wheels combined with double-walled alloy rims. There are 2.35″ MTB tires that perform well on Indian terrains. There is a front fork suspension that has a travel of 100mm. The travel of the suspension is smooth and is good for bumpy roads and potholes, even the off-roading performance will be much better than its predecessor.

Gear System And Brakes:

NVC is a multi-speed geared electric cycle. The bike comes with a 7-speed Shimano gear system with a Tourney rear derailleur and TX30 shifters. The performance of the gear is good and best suited for this kind of entry-level ebikes. Even gears in ebikes help to ride the bike easily with less effort even in case of power loss. For the braking system, it comes with 160mm made-in-India dual mechanical disc brakes by Bolids that also have an auto safety cut-off feature on both brakes, which means when applying the brakes, it cuts off the motor from surging ahead.

Additional Features:

Additionally, the bike sports a horn, a pair of mudguards, and a headlight. Apart from these the bike also has an ignition key to start the bike. So without permission, no one can access your bike in your absence. The company is also providing accessories like a tool kit, and a wired lock for additional safety. You will also get, a basic LCD display for the battery indication.

With NVC you will get 18 months of warranty on the battery and 12 months on the motor, and the rest of the electric components.

So as per the claim, the bike is indeed the cheapest 7-speed geared electric cycle. Along with the 7-speed gears, the bike has almost every feature that an entry-level bike should come with. It has a 100mm suspension, dual electric brakes by Bolids, an ignition key system for basic security, a headlight, and a horn. But the only flaw the bike has is it has only a single level of assistance, and because of this, though it comes with a 10Ah battery, the range you will get with this bike is limited to only 40km. So other than this the bike has most of the features of a good ebike, and that can be easily considered.
