Design And Build Quality:
Hero Lectro Glide SS is an entry-level electric bike of Hero Cycles. The bike has a slightly step-through design and looks like a normal bicycle. The 16″ frame has made of6061 aluminum alloy, which not only strong but lightweight too, only 19kgs. For the saddle, they have used PU material with a graphical design, and the good thing is you can adjust the seat’s height as per your height.
Electronics Parts:
The Lectro Glide SS operates by a 250w BLDC motor, which maximum speed is 25KMPH. The motor is powered by a 5.8Ah/36v Lithium-ion battery which is mounted on the lower frame, and it is a nonremovable battery. The battery takes 3-4 hours to charge fully, and on a single charge, it gives a riding range of 30 to 40kms. Well, 30km is considered as an ideal riding range for a daily commute.
Mechanical Parts:
The bike comes with a 27.5″ of wheels dimension and runs on anti-skid nylon tires along with double-wall alloy rims. For the braking system, the bike comes with two different brakes, where, on the front, it equipped with a disc brake, and alloy V brake on the rear.
In the name of Glide SS, the “SS” stands for single-speed, so it means it is a single-speed electric bicycle and has no gears on it. But the company has also introduced a gear version of it, and which comes with the same design, features, and specification. But this one is slightly costlier than the single-speed one and that is ₹25350. So it is totally up to you whether you will buy the single speed or go for the gear one.
