The frame material used is made of 6061 aluminum alloy which is strong, sturdy, and lightweight. Motor Drive:
The Velocity runs on a 250w BLDC hub motor and it’s a 36v motor that generates up to 40nm of torque. The maximum speed of the bike is 25kmph.
Battery And Its Range:
The bike is powered by a state-of-the-art Electric Drive Unit (EDU) and a 36v/10.4Ah Li-ion battery concealed in the down tube. That means you can not remove the battery from the bike for charging, you have to take the bike to the nearest charging point. A standard 2A charger will be provided with the bike that helps to charge the battery 0 – 100% in 4 – 5 hours. Once the battery gets charged fully, the bike can go up to 50km on a single charge.
Please note, there is no throttle in the bike, so to activate the motor, you must need to pedal the bike, and then gradually it will assist you. But the sad thing is you won’t get pedal-assist levels as it’s an automatic single assisted ebike.

The Velocity comes with a 26″ wheels and 2.12″ tires that have a butyl Dun lop valve tube, making the tires ideal for smooth and rough roads. The tires are supported by a double-walled alloy rim, to give you a smooth ride even on tough terrain. It also has a front telescopic suspension that helps you ride smoothly even in rough roads.
Gears And Brakes:
The Hero Velocity e-bike comes with a single-speed gear system, which is easy to handle and requires low maintenance. The front and rear disc brakes is from REDVAN, which is powerful and response quickly and ensured additional safety to the rider.
Additional Features:
The bike has an ignition key feature to start the bike. So without key no one can access the bike in your absence. It also comes with a pair of metal fenders, a integrated horn, a headlight and a small basic display for battery indication that’s mounted on the right handlebar. The Velocity bike looks quite promising. It has a good build quality, bigger battery, ignition key, full-metal fenders, front suspension, integrated horn, and headlight-like must-have features. But this bike is made not for everyone who is looking for an ebike. This bike is basically, made for those who love cycling, and fitness enthusiasts. But sometimes due to exhaustion during pedaling they unable to ride longer. So in that situation, this bike can help you to push forward by using less physical power as the motor will assist in surging ahead. Even for the aged person, this bike will be helpful. But If you want to have a reall ebike experience, then you should look for a different ebike that provides throttle and pedal asist levels with the rest of the features.
